RO: Apel de înscriere – Festivalul Internațional de Teatru „New Wave”
Ediția a VI-a, Reșița, 13–21 iunie 2026
Teatrul de Vest Reșița lansează apelul de înscriere pentru cea de-a VI-a ediție a Festivalului Internațional de Teatru „New Wave”, selecționer Doru Mareș. Festivalul își propune să aducă în fața publicului spectacole reprezentative, din țară și din străinătate, care se înscriu în conceptul de new wave prin viziunea regizorală și/sau scenografică, tematica abordată, jocul actoricesc și alte direcții artistice contemporane.
Festivalul se va desfășura în regim de concurs.
Eligibilitate
Pot participa:
- teatre de stat;
- companii independente;
- colective sau nuclee de creație;
- organizații din România sau din străinătate.
Ce căutăm
- spectacole pentru publicul larg;
- producții care se încadreaza în conceptul new wave prin direcția artistică, tematică sau inovatoare;
- spectacole indoor sau outdoor, destinate scenei sau adaptabile pentru spații neconvenționale ori condiții tehnice minimale.
Înscriere spectacole
Înscrierile se realizează exclusiv online, prin completarea formularului de înscriere.

Înscrierea trebuie să fie completă pentru a fi considerată validă. Vă recomandăm să pregătiți detalii precum:
- datele companiei, membrii echipei de spectacol, sinopsis și (opțional) extrase din presă;
- filmarea integrală a spectacolului;
- datele tehnice;
- câteva imagini din spectacol;
- costurile pentru una sau mai multe reprezentații.

Condiții tehnice
Spectacolele selecționate pentru sala de spectacol vor fi prezentate pe scena Teatrului de Vest Reșița. Pentru producțiile destinate scenei, vă rugăm să verificați specificațiile tehnice ale teatrului:
Condiții de participare
Organizatorii acoperă transportul, cazarea și mesele trupelor participante. Spectacolele vor fi remunerate în funcție de bugetul alocat festivalului.
Festivalul Internațional de Teatru New Wave se va desfășura în regim de concurs. Înscrierile sunt deschise tuturor producțiilor, însă pentru secțiunea competițională sunt eligibile spectacolele cu premiera în ultimii 3 ani (cel devreme 1 Ianuarie 2023).

Open Call – New Wave International Theatre Festival
6th Edition, Reșița, 13–21 June 2026
Teatrul de Vest Reșița announces the opening of applications for the 6th edition of the New Wave International Theatre Festival, curated by Doru Mareș. The festival aims to present to audiences productions from Romania and abroad that reflect the concept of new wave through their directorial and/or scenographic vision, the themes explored, the acting style, and other contemporary artistic approaches.
The festival will take place in a competitive format.
Eligibility
The following may apply:
- public theatres;
- independent companies;
- creative collectives or artistic groups;
- organizations from Romania or abroad.
What we are looking for
- productions intended for general audiences;
- productions that align with the new wave concept through their artistic direction, thematic approach, or innovative perspective;
- indoor or outdoor performances, created for the stage or adaptable to unconventional spaces or minimal technical conditions.
Submitting a production
Applications must be submitted exclusively online by completing the application form.

Applications must be complete in order to be considered valid. We recommend preparing the following materials and information:
- company details, members of the artistic team, synopsis and (optionally) press excerpts;
- a full recording of the performance;
- technical information;
- several images from the performance;
- costs for one or more performances.
Application deadline: 31th of March 2026
Technical requirements
Performances selected for the indoor programme will be presented on the stage of the Teatrul de Vest (West Theatre) Reșița. For productions intended for the stage, please ensure that the performance complies with the theatre’s technical specifications, available at:
Participation conditions
The organisers cover transportation, accommodation, and meals for the participating companies. Performances will be remunerated according to the budget allocated to the festival.
The New Wave International Theatre Festival will take place in a competitive format. Submissions are open to all productions; however, only performances that premiered within the last three years (no earlier than January 1, 2023) are eligible for the competition section.
